Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse will require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test for certain events
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse will demand new security requirements for some of its biggest events through the end of the year and possibly beyond. Improved protocols, determined from event to event by the event sponsor, include proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test results.
The first events in the arena to institute such security measures are the Harry Styles show on October 18, the Michael Bublé concert on October 21, and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on October 30. The Rock Hall had previously announced the new security measures. for its annual ceremony.
“It is important to note that health and safety guidelines may not be the same for every event, as protocols are determined by the tour promoter / management,” said representatives from Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. in a press release. “For events that will have specific criteria in place, ticketed guests will receive a direct email communication that describes the health and safety protocols and entry processes for the event they are attending.”
Fans attending these events will be required to present an original vaccination card (14 days after your last shot) or a printed copy of an FDA-approved negative COVID-19 test. Photo ID will be required alongside both.
Rocket Mortgage also presents another option. The arena has partnered with CLEAR Health Pass, a free mobile app that lets you download proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result to your phone. The app, which can be downloaded HERE, creates a QR code that can be scanned upon entering the arena.
The arena urges fans to check each event’s page before attending, as verification processes may change and additional security protocols may be required. For example, masks will be mandatory at the Harry Styles concert on October 18.
